TACOMA, Wash., April 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Columbia Bank named Ryan Palmquest as Manager of its Spanaway Branch. Mr. Palmquest was also promoted to Assistant Vice President from his previous position as a Business Development Officer. In addition to overseeing daily operations, he will serve as the Spanaway Branch's primary commercial lender.

Mr. Palmquest has been with Columbia Bank for 9 months and was previously a branch manager at US Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. Martin's University.

A resident of Lacey, where he lives with his wife, he is active in his local church and also volunteers with the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Tacoma, the Alzheimer's Association and the YMCA of Pierce County.
